If you don’t read, of course you won’t understand

October 30, 2013

It’s frankly surprising how a number of biomechanical experts refuse to read Habib 2010 when discussing pterosaurs. It’s one thing to discuss the plausibility of quadrupedal launch, but most of these researchers like Averianov and Chatterjee have admitted to have not read the papers dealing with this, simply ignoring them. It goes without saying that such childish games have no room in the field of palaeobiology.

Hell, David Peters actually comes better than these people because he at least bothered to discuss quadrupedal launching (using illogical reasonins, granted, but still). When he comes better than these “more credible” researchers, you know you’re in trouble.
