Apollon Telchinios

May 12, 2013

Light of the howling

Wind please arrive from the bright

Dawn wearing spices

Of fiery scents that cleanse

The world from night plagues in

Stinging ways so dire.

White is the divine

Killer of the sea lions

Who held storms bondage,

Reminding mankind

That love won’t save your hubris

As mice somberly know.

Oh ruinous white wind,

Your breezes are welcome as

Are the fruits of purity,

Each soul a star in

The Aither your father governs,

Each breath wind’s daughter,

Daughters whose father

So violently killed as the wolf

That is Apollon,

Yet made them reborn

As winged clouds, doves upon

The Sun that is Phibos.

Light in the dire wind,

Sunfire as destructive breeze

Bright is the hurricane.

Such is Apollon
