Sankar Chatterjee: from pioneer to stupid brat

November 15, 2012

Hatzegopteryx by Mark Witton and Quetzalcoatlus by Sankar Chatterjee. I love it how you can tell easily which one was the real animal and which one is the abomination blooming from a pseudo-intellectual’s mental illness.

Sankar Chatterjee recently gave a statement about pterosaur launching mechanics.
As covered in Pterosaur.net, his “argument” boils more or less to this:

“Sankar no like non-avian pterosaurs! Sankar smash!”

How the mighty fall indeed.

I’d say both reconsturctions look equally bizarre. Its just that only on of these reconstructions if following the laws of physics 😄
